Hello!  My name is Shane Stewart, and I am the talented Theatre teacher for McKinley Middle Academic Magnet.  This is my 24th year of teaching, and my 23rd teaching Talented Theatre.  I have been at McKinley for the last 14 of those years.  I have a Bachelors Degree from Southeastern Louisiana University in English Literature, and a Master of Fine Arts degree from the University of New Orleans in Theatre.    I focus on teaching the Meisner technique in my classes with an emphasis on moment to moment reality and using the space in between words to create believable and realistic characters.  My class performs at least four plays a year, sometimes even more.  If you need anything from me please feel free to email me at sstewart12@ebrschools, or call me at 454-9189.
